Microsoft's Surface Pro tablet with the Windows 8 OS was introduced on market on Feb. 9, with $899 starting price.
For the last few month we have found a lot of alternatives for the Surface Pro from Samsung, Acer, Lenovo,Hewlett-Packard and many other tablets with Windows 8 OS. Most of them come with touchscreens and Intel's Core processors, and a keyboard attachment turns the tablets into full Windows 8 laptops, also has 128GB of storage. For example Surface pro is available only with a 10.6-inch screen and comes in models with 64GB or 128GB of storage.
Most of those tablets has same disadvantages because the Core processor is using a lot of power, that's why so these tablets won't offer the battery life of Microsoft's Surface RT or Android tablets, or even Windows 8 tablets running on Intel's tablet-specific Atom chip code-named Clover Trail. Surface Pro will be nice alternative to people who are looking PC and Tablet in one device, because Windows RT devices are not allowed to run existing Windows apps
